Have you heard “Missing You” by Boston Bun yet? If not, make sure to take a listen, below.

Born Thibaud Noyer, Boston Bun discovered electronic music at the age of 16 while watching music television channels in the south of France. Drawn to the distinctive, characteristic and rather leftfield stylings from the likes of The Chemicals Brothers, The Detroit Grand Pubahs and Basement Jaxx, Boston quickly developed a passion for videos with a distinctive edge and began learning to direct videos himself of a similar nature.

Closing out 2013 in style, Boston Bun released his second EP Flasher – also on Ed Banger Records – continuing to perfect the sound he began to craft with Housecall. Tailored even more towards his new-found love & presence in the club scene, the tracks were even more hypnotic and hard-hitting for this distinct audience. Despite its selective & focused audience, all three tracks were played across a number of radio stations in the UK & France including BBC Radio 1, Le Mouv & France Inter. The tracks also gained strong support from fellow DJ’s such as 2manyDjs, Skream, Duke Dumont, Boys Noize, Erol Alkan, Surkin, Daniel Avery & more.

Recently, Boston’s production talents have lead him to work on & remix songs from the likes of Disciples, Metronomy, Jodie Abacus, Riton and Clare Maguire as well as contribute to 4 Kitsuné compilations and 3 Ed Banger albums. In 2016, he released ‘Get Into It’ with singer/songwriter Loreen via Ministry of Sound. Showcasing a slightly more wide-reaching sound – embracing elements of UK Garage & classic house with a distinctive French twist – the track was highly praised and spawned the nostalgic 1994 Edition remix, which also gained something of a cult following. Now, in 2017, Boston Bun is hard at work on his long-awaited debut album, which is set to be released later this year.
