Vancouver’s Noble Oak shares his latest single and video, “In Series”, taken from his forthcoming full-length label debut with Last Gang Records which is set for worldwide release in 2020
““In Series” is about the possibility of being everywhere at once,” explains Noble Oak’s Patrick Fiore. The video was directed by Brian Ceci and filmed on location in Fiore’s native Vancouver, BC.
Noble Oak’s sound draws from the British Columbian’s non-musical hobbies as well, hiking and camping alongside the ocean and the Coast Mountain and the clip beautifully depicts the province, “It’s refreshing to go out there and feel the world as much as you can,” says Fiore. I feel like we’re not going to have this world for very long, and the weight of that pressure is making it more important for me to be outside.”
“In Series” is taken from Noble Oak’s forthcoming label debut for Last Gang Records (Rhye, Chromeo, Sango, Metric, Lights), and follows the release of Collapsing Together (2017), Past Life (2016) which prompted comparisons to the likes of The War on Drugs, Bob Moses, and Tame Impala and international praise from Stereogum, HYPEBEAST, Majestic Casual, DIY, Indie Shuffle, CLASH Magazine and more. It comes on the heels of the smash success of 2016’s single “Dream-Spark,” which has more than 5 million streams on Spotify.
