Rhye returns with a remix by Roosevelt to the track “Summer Days” that was released 7/7. A new video also accompanies the release of the track. From Rhye:

“The Photoautomat is a private space within a public sphere. Located on many populated streets in Berlin, with just a curtain for privacy, the photoautomat allows people to be who they want to be unabashedly, expressing silliness, sadness, intimacy and joy. The environment that the photoautomat fosters is what we hope to encourage more of in the world we are creating: more coming together, more love, more joy and humor. It is this sentiment that we chose to embody in this video that celebrates being whoever you want to be with whomever you want to be with.”

Rhye will be performing at Red Bull Music Academy on September 14 at Le National, Montreal. Tickets available here.

A little background: Rhye has over 100 million streams on their debut album Woman — which was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize. Rhye also recently collaborated with Bonobo on his recent MIGRATION record on the track “Break Apart.”. Additionally, Rhye has toured worldwide and performed the likes of Coachella, Pitchfork Fest, NOS Alive and has had sold out shows recently in Toronto at Danforth Music Hall as well as Massey Hall.
